We hope you and your family will participate in Botany Bay Library's "Read on the Wild Side" Summer Reading Club! This program is free and is for children aged between 5-8 years and 9-12 years and young adults aged from 13-17 years.

Each group will have a winner, so visit the Eastgardens Library to register and collect a reading log on December 1, 2009.

Activities you child can record for their reading log include:
  • Reading books or magazines
  • Reading a story about the theme list
  • Listening to an audio book
The goal of the Summer Reading Club is to encourage children and families to read over the summer holidays. All participants must complete the Summer Reading Club reading log (20 entries each) by Friday, February 12, 2010. They will then receive a Certificate of Accomplishment at the Presentation Day on February 25, 2010. Winners of each group will also receive a prize.
