Have you worked in a local factory or know of someone who has?  If so you may be able to help.  The George Hanna Memorial Museum is currently preparing an exhibition on the history of manufacturing in the Botany district.  If you have any photographs, objects or stories related to the production fo goods in the area we would love to hear from you.

Help build Kiddyville

This January come and unleash your child’s suburban imaginations at George Hanna Memorial Museum. To coincide with the museum’s current exhibition on the history of Daceyville, the museum is giving children from the ages 7-13 the chance to build their dream house out of hundreds of cardboard boxes and craft materials.

Wednesday January 19th 2010 - 10am –12noon @ George Hanna Memorial Museum, Mascot Library

Cost : $5 per child. Bookings and payment must be made in person at Eastgardens Library.

Bookings essential as places are limited.
